KMP Bambit is an Indonesian Ro-Ro ship that carries passengers. It public transportation from Merauke Regency to Asmat and vice versa. The still using fluorescent lamps as its main lighting source. This study presents a comparative of the efficiency level between use LED in room aboard ship. method used zonal cavity (lumen) by dividing each into three parts, namely height ceiling (hcc), (hrc), floor (hfc). illumination value was determined according standards set for room. principal results comparing power on showed total electrical load accumulated type 24.31kW. In contrast, had 16.51 kW. reduced generator 68 kW 60 kW, which could improve fuel operational costs. can evaluate existing fleet be good option process building Ro-Roships future.
